Hey there! We're Cathy, Megan, and Maddy — the mother-daughter-sister trio behind Olive & Oak Mats. We're all about creating beautiful flat lays and adding that extra flair to styling. Our journey started about seven years ago, right at Cathy's kitchen counter. It was quite the adventure, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Based out of our cozy studio in Salt Lake City, Utah, we pour our hearts into handcrafting every single styling mat and accessory. Yep, you heard that right — every single one! We're sticklers for quality, and we believe it's the little details that make all the difference.
But what we love even more? Connecting with our amazing customers! Whether it's chatting on social media, shooting emails back and forth, or meeting face-to-face at workshops and events, we're all about building those relationships.

Hey there, I'm Cathy – wife, mom, and the hands behind all the magic at Olive and Oak Mats! From stitching together those perfect styling mats to crafting every accessory with love, I'm all about adding that special touch to your order!
My journey into the world of styling mats started with a needle and thread in hand. Growing up, I was the go-to mom for all things sewing – from Halloween costumes to dance outfits, I've done it all! So when my daughter Megan came to me with the idea of creating a styling mat, I knew it was right up my alley.
When I'm not in the Olive and Oak Mat Studio, you can find me indulging in my other passions. Whether it's tending to my garden and orchard, sweating it out at the gym alongside my lifelong workout partner (aka my husband), jet-setting across the country to visit my kids and grand babies, or hitting the trails for some hiking and dirt biking in the mountains – I'm all about embracing life's adventures!

Hey there, I'm Megan – the girl behind all things flat lay styling and photography at Olive and Oak Mats!
As a seasoned photographer and owner of my own photography business, I've got a knack for understanding the ins and outs of the wedding industry. I bring all my ideas and inspirations to the table, collaborating closely with my mom and sister to make our products shine!

When I'm not immersed in all things Olive and Oak, you can find me soaking up quality time with my loved ones. I'm a proud mom to two amazing daughters and a wife to my supportive husband. Together, we tend to our massive flower garden, ride our horses around our ranch, and cheer on my daughters as they tumble and dance on their teams. And when the day winds down, you'll often find us cozied up on our rocking chairs, watching the sunset over the fields – the perfect end to a perfect day.

Hey there, I'm Maddy, the wizard behind all things marketing, emails, and the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps Olive & Oak Mats running smoothly!
As an entrepreneur who also owns her own cheer company, I’ve got a passion for organization, creativity, and making things happen. I love working outside and have a serious knack for plants. You could say I’m just as happy in the dirt as I am in front of a computer screen.
When I’m not crafting emails or strategizing our next big launch, you can find me spoiling my three adorable fur babies, soaking up the sunshine, or tending to my garden. I love bringing fresh ideas and energy to the Olive & Oak team, making sure every detail is taken care of so our products and your experience are top-notch.

Styling mats are an investment to your business. They too, need protection. Since our mats are double sided, you'll want a cover mat to lay down FIRST. Cover mats can we wiped and cleaned. Styling mats cannot.

Imagine being the bride or bystander at a wedding or event. They see you roll out a super nice styling mat and instantly get the vibe that you are a "pro"...but then you proceed to hold down the edges of your mat with a random lens, coffee mug and your assistants hands.
